OVERVIEW

The Maxxis MA-P1 is a performance, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles. Maxxis offers a 50,000 mile warranty with the 60, 65 and 70 aspect ratio sizes.

The model ensures excellent all weather traction. The detailed symmetric tread design and the all season compound work together to increase the grip on dry, wet and winter weather road surface conditions. The tread design with the siping detail and the optimal surface contact improve the number of biting edges gripping the road surface, while the compound keeps the rubber flexibility in versatile weather conditions. The tread's four wide circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the footprint. The hydroplaning resistance further upgrades the wet and winter weather grip on the road surface, ensuring a safer year round performance.

The tire promotes a longer lasting tread life. The tread design manages to evenly distribute the driving pressure along the tread area. The equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking actively avoid irregular wear formations. This is combined with the stronger all season compound, which slows the tread wear rate down with the wear-resistant rubber materials. This allows the tire to increase the tread life length by providing a slower and more even wear rate and manner.

The tread design and the all season tire compound increase the high speed handling as well. The tread's solid continuous center rib closely follows the road surface while the tires are in motion, which boosts the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. As a result, the steering becomes faster and more precise in its response to the driver's instructions, and the tire secures its structural stability during the drive. The stronger internal structure features a spiral jointless nylon cap or edge ply that reinforces the tire against the high speed driving pressure affecting the model. This allows the tire to perform at its greatest high speed capability and power, without allowing the tire to deform under the driving pressure.

The MA-P1 upgrades the driving comfort levels. The tread's closed shoulder pattern prevents airwaves from entering the footprint and coming into contact with the tread elements. In this manner, the road and tread pattern noise are not generated during the drive. As a result, the passengers' driving enjoyment is not dampened by the road noise, which ensures a comfortable and quiet driving experience.
