OVERVIEW

The Maxtrek Maximus M1 RFT is a performance, summer, run flat tire manufactured for passenger vehicles.

The model promotes great dry and wet weather road grip and hydroplaning resistance with the tread pattern and summer compound. The symmetric tread design upgrades the grip the tire has on the road surface, while the summer tire compound prevents heat accumulation on the tread area. The tread’s circumferential grooves help avert hydroplaning. They disperse water from below the tire’s footprint and boost the wet weather grip on the road surface.

The tire is a run flat model. It was manufactured with a reinforced internal structure that allows the tire to be driven on after air pressure loss. When air pressure leaves the tire due to a puncture or other road damage, the structure maintains the tire’s optimal shape and withstands the weight of the vehicle and its passengers. In this manner, the tire can be driven on for 50 miles up to the speed of 50 mph. This prevents the driver from being stranded on the side of the road when damage occurs. Run flat tires are usually made for vehicles without space for spare tires and they cannot be mixed with regular tires on the same vehicle.

The Maximus M1 RFT’s tread pattern upgrades its controllability. The continuous center rib upgrades the steering responsiveness and driving stability. As a result, the steering becomes faster and more precise in its response to the driver’s commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the model. The optimal road contact and stronger internal structure allow the tire to perform at its greatest high speed capability without the deformation of its shape.
