OVERVIEW
The Mastercraft Courser STR is a highway terrain all season tire manufactured for SUVs. Mastercraft offers a 50,000 mile treadwear warranty with this model.
The model is easily controlled. The tread design's continuous center rib maintains the tire's road contact at all times, which increases the steering responsiveness and driving stability. As a result, the steering becomes faster and more precise in its response to the driver's commands, while the structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting the model. The stronger internal structure does not allow the tire's optimal shape to deform under the driving pressure. The constant shape allows the model to safely perform in all weather.
The tire guarantees excellent all weather traction. The all season tire compound and the symmetric tread design work together to enhance the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The tread design with the moderate siping detail and large tread blocks firmly grips the road surface all year, while the tire compound keeps its flexibility even in colder temperatures. The tread's wide circumferential grooves and open shoulder design actively eliminate water and slush from below the tire's footprint to effectively resist hydroplaning. As a result, the tire offers a safer driving experience throughout the year.
The Courser STR improves the comfort levels during the drive. The tread's center rib closely follows the road surface and absorbs the shock of driving while the tires are in motion. In this manner, it prevents the formation of road vibrations, which lowers the vibrations felt in the vehicle's cabin. On the other hand, the computer-optimized tread design features a variable pitch sequence that negates the sound waves generated.
