The Linglong LDL817 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It was made for the vehicle's drive axle. The wide-base design decreases the tire weight to optimize the load durability, as opposed to dual tire applications (four tires on one axle). The strengthened structure allows the tire to boost the load and driving durability. The symmetric ribbed tread design with the siping pattern and the all season compound enhance the all weather traction. The grooves prevent hydroplaning in wet conditions. The LDL817 improves the tread life length by resisting irregular wear.

The tire's special wide-base design and its reinforced internal structure work together to enhance the load durability.

The wide-base design allows the tire to greatly decrease its weight, which helps to improve the load durability as opposed to dual tire applications - when four tires are mounted on one axle. Furthermore, the stronger steel belt structure allows the tire to keep the ideal tire shape under the load and driving pressure. As the tire does not deform under the load and driving pressure, it is able to greatly boost the overall load and driving capacity.

The all season compound and the ideal tread design improve the year round performing ability.

The tire's symmetric ribbed tread block pattern with the siping placement upgrades the grip on the road surface. They provide additional biting edges in order to firmly grip the road surface throughout the year. The compound also keeps the rubber flexibility in versatile temperatures, optimizing the summer and winter weather performing capability. The tread's circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from the footprint, resulting in a safer wet weather performance.

The LDL817 increases the length of the usability as well.

The flat footprint and the symmetric ribbed tread block pattern allow the tire to improve the pressure distribution across the tread area. The equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking avoids premature and irregular wear formations, greatly extending the service and tread life.
