OVERVIEW

The Kumho KRT03 is a highway terrain, all season tire made for commercial vehicles. This model is designed to be mounted on trailer axles.

Excellent all weather traction is promoted with this tire. The ribbed tread design and the all season compound boost dry, wet, and winter weather traction. In other words, the optimal tread keeps the road contact at all times, while the compound maintains flexibility in warm and cold temperatures. At the same time, wide circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning. These grooves resist hydroplaning, by eliminating water and slush from the footprint. As a result, this combination guarantees a safe year-round performance.

The model also enhances controllability. The ribbed tread pattern maintains road contact, which boosts steering responsiveness and towing stability. It improves the steering response time and accuracy to the towing vehicle's commands, while the structure is secured against the pressure affecting it. At the same time, the outer ribs firmly grip the road surface and upgrade cornering. On the other hand, the strengthened internal structure and the rubber compound keep the ideal tire shape under load and driving pressure.
