OVERVIEW

The Kumho KRD01 is a highway terrain, all season tire made for commercial vehicles. This model is built to be mounted on drive axle positions.

Better dry, wet, and winter grip is guaranteed with this model. The tire’s grip on dry, wet, and winter roads is boosted with better traction. The wide grooves prevent hydroplaning, by dispering water and slush from below the footprint. The tread design grips the driving surface firmly, while the all season compound maintains rubber flexibility in versatile temperatures. These elements improve the year-round traction.

Great load and driving durability are ensured with the tire’s reinforced internal structure. Tires can deform under load pressure if their construction is not strong enough. Therefore, by reinforcing the sidewalls of this tire, it is able to securely handle larger loads. Great load capacity is ensured as the tire manages to increase its ability to carry and withstand such loads.

The Kumho KRD01 guarantees a lengthened usability. Its exceptional compound blend and the tread’s even pressure circulation work together to make this happen. They avoid premature and uneven wear as a result. In other words, they resist premature wear by utilizing biting edges, while the tread avoids irregular wear as well. These elements significantly boost the tire’s service life.

There might be discrepancies of sizes between brands and models of tires which have this size formatting. As the manufacturers only provide the tire width and the rim diameter with these tires, various brands and models will have size differences. In order to ensure the correct size is purchased, the overall tire diameter that is needed should be checked.

The Overall Diameter or O.D. advertised represents the tire's overall diameter in inches, once the tire has been properly inflated and mounted per the manufacturer's recommendation. This advertised number is provided to Priority Tire by the tire manufacturer.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
