OVERVIEW

The Kumho Ecsta PS91 is a high performance summer tire manufactured for passenger vehicles.

The tire provides excellent summer weather traction. The asymmetric tread design and the summer weather compound work together to increase the dry and wet weather road gripping ability. The tread design's ribbed pattern firmly grips the road surface, while the heat-resistant compound ensures its flexibility in summer weather. The tread's wide circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the tire's footprint. However, the tire is not suitable to be driven on in winter weather as the compound and tread don't offer traction on ice- and snow-covered road surfaces.

The tread design's optimized elements closely follow the road surface at all times. The ribbed pattern upgrades the steering responsiveness and driving stability. The steering becomes faster and more precise in its responsiveness to the driver's commands and its structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting the model during the drive. The larger outer shoulder area improves the road-to-tire ratio, which enhances the cornering and maneuvering capability. The tread design features a special C-Cut 3D design, which heightens the block stiffness. In this manner, the tread elements do not shift when braking, allowing the tire to effectively shorten its braking distance. The better controllability guarantees a safer driving experience.

The Ecsta PS91 promotes superb high speed performance. The 3D dimple design prevents heat build-up at high speeds. This upgrades the tread block durability under the high speed driving pressure. The tire also maintains its optimal shape under such pressure.
