OVERVIEW

The Knight KD1 is a highway terrain, all season tire made for commercial vehicles. This model is designed to be mounted on drive axle positions.

The ribbed tread design and the all season compound improve the tire’s performance throughout the year. In this manner, the all season compound keeps the rubber flexible in changing temperatures, from warm summer to cold winter temperatures. At the same time, the optimized tread elements closely follow the road surface in dry, wet, and winter temperatures. These elements upgrade the tire’s year-round performance. On the other hand, circumferential grooves effectively eliminate water and slush from the footprint. These grooves prevent hydroplaning and guarantee the tire’s safe performance, even in wet situations.

The model upgrades its controllability. The ribbed tread pattern maintains close contact with the road surface. This increases the tire’s steering responsiveness and driving stability. In other words, the steering response time becomes faster and more precise to the driver’s instructions, while the structure is secured against driving pressure. This combination enables the driver to have full control over the vehicle, for a safer driving experience.
