OVERVIEW

The Itp Cryptid is a mud terrain, all season tire manufactured for ATVs and UTVs.

The tire features a special chevron tread pattern, which places the tread lugs in a directional V-shaped pattern. This ensures the tire's forward motion on all off-road terrain surfaces. The better traction enables the tire's easy controllability. In other words, the steering becomes faster and more precise in its responsiveness to the driver's commands, while the structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting the tire. The improved control over the vehicle and the excellent performance ensure a safer off-road driving experience.

The directional chevron tread pattern also boosts the tire's soft and loose terrain gripping ability. The tread allows the tire's extreme mud terrain performance and it prevents the model from being stuck on such surfaces. The graduated lug height, from the center to the tire's shoulders, boosts the tire's performing capability in deeper mud and loose dirt. This paddle-like shoulder tread pattern increases the tire's side bite to ensure its traction on such terrain surface conditions. The extra biting edges provided in this manner, increase the tire's performance on off-road terrain surface conditions.

The Cryptid is damage resistant. The high void ratio between the lugs and the grooved lug centers eliminate mud, snow and rocks from the tire's footprint. This keeps the footprint clean at all times, which enhances the tire's performing capability. It also resists stone retention from harming the tire's casing, while avoiding cuts, punctures and bruises caused by other debris. The durable construction keeps the optimal tire shape, preventing its deformation under the driving and load pressure affecting the model, to improve the year round driving safety.

This specific tire model features a BIASED ply construction.

When it comes to ATV tires, there might be slight visual differences between brands and models even if the tires are of the same size.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
