OVERVIEW

The Hi-Run SU05 is an all season tire manufactured for lawn mowers and other garden equipment.

The tire offers a soft performance. This is important with lawn mowers and garden equipment vehicles as their traction and performance can damage the turf and grass field. The S-shaped tread blocks and the wide shoulder design improve the tire’s soft terrain contact, which allows it to perform in a turf friendly manner. This doesn’t allow the tire to damage the grass and ensures its exceptional performance.

The model promotes great all weather traction. The tread design, with the S-shaped blocks and optimal siping detail, and the all season tire compound work together to ensure exceptional dry, wet and winter weather terrain grip. The groove placement manages to channel water from below the tire’s footprint, maintaining a constant contact. The compound’s year round flexibility and the special traction upgrade the tire’s safe performance throughout the year.

The SU05 is easily controlled. The tread design’s constant terrain contact upgrades the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. The improved road contact of the wider shoulder tread elements ensures a secure performance and it enables the driver to confidently control the garden equipment vehicle in all weather.

This is a bias ply tire. Due to the tire's internal construction and size, it is possible that the tire will look deformed. Smaller bias ply tires do not have reinforced constructions that can keep the tire from deforming. The bias construction and the small tire's non-reinforced internal structure allow the tire to fold in when it is deflated or not properly inflated. This is not constructional damage or an issue; it is a normal occurrence with such tires. In such cases, the tire needs to be mounted and inflated to the proper PSI or, in some instances, an inner tube needs to be added. The proper PSI and the inner tube are able to maintain the tire's ideal shape, preventing the bias plies from looking deformed. This ensures their performing safety and durability.
