Hercules Terra Trac M/T
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
- Mud terrain traction
- Enhanced controllability
- All weather traction
OVERVIEW
The Hercules Terra Trac M/T is a mud terrain, all season tire manufactured for light trucks.
The tire upgrades the mud terrain traction by utilizing the aggressive tread design. The aggressive, open-shoulder pattern with the staggered tread blocks and the high void ratio improve the soft, loose and uneven terrain traction. These tread elements the tire is able to optimize the forward motion at all times, increasing the deep mud and loose terrain performance. The tread design also keeps the footprint clean at all times. They tread elements effectively disperse mud and snow from the footprint, preventing them from blocking the surface contact. On the other hand, rocks cannot lodge between the tread elements and drill into the casing, preventing stone retention from harming the tire.
The tread design's center block pattern allows the tire to optimize the surface contact while the tires are in motion. The close and constant surface contact upgrades the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. As a result, the tire is quicker and more precise in its response to the driver's commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the tire. The strengthened internal structure allows the tire to keep the ideal tire shape under the load and driving pressure. In this manner, the tire is able to greatly enhance the overall load capacity as well.
The Terra Trac M/T also promotes great all weather traction. The all season compound and the detailed tread design enable the tire to improve the dry, wet and winter grip. The durable compound elements optimize the rubber flexibility in different temperatures, upgrading the summer and winter weather traction. The tread elements provide extra biting edges in order to greatly grip the road surface throughout the performance. Furthermore, the tire is pinned for studs, which can be added to greatly improve winter weather traction.
The intended purpose of Mud Terrain tire types is off-road use. They are not designed for regular highway driving.
