OVERVIEW

The Hankook Smart Flex AH35 is a highway terrain all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. The tire model is made to be mounted on the vehicle's steering axle.

The tire promotes great all weather traction. The tread design features wide circumferential grooves and specially placed 3D sipes to increase the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The tread elements firmly grip the road surface throughout the year and ensure a secure performance. The wide grooves actively resist hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the tire's footprint. The enhanced traction and effective hydroplaning prevention provide a safer driving experience all year.

The ribbed tread design and the strengthened internal structure work together to offer constant road contact. The tire's better contact with the road surface improves its controllability, in other words, its steering responsiveness and driving stability. The steering becomes faster and more precise in its response to the driver's commands, while the structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting the tire. As a result, the tire is easily controlled in all conditions.

The 3D siping detail and the optimized rib stiffness lessen the model's rolling resistance by lowering the amount of heat generated during the drive. The rolling resistance is the force affecting the tires that determine how much energy the vehicle needs to keep the tires in motion. There might be discrepancies of sizes between brands and models of tires which have this size formatting. As the manufacturers only provide the tire width and the rim diameter with these tires, various brands and models will have size differences. In order to ensure the correct size is purchased, the overall tire diameter that is needed should be checked.

The Overall Diameter or O.D. advertised represents the tire's overall diameter in inches, once the tire has been properly inflated and mounted per the manufacturer's recommendation. This advertised number is provided to Priority Tire by the tire manufacturer.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
