OVERVIEW

The Hankook Optimo H724 (OE) is a touring all season tire manufactured for passenger tires. This model is the original equipment tire of select vehicles.

The tire has exceptional all weather traction thanks to the special tire compound and tread pattern that increase the dry, wet and winter weather road grip. The tread design's four circumferential grooves and lateral lugs prevent hydroplaning and increase the wet weather traction by channeling the water and slush away from the tire footprint. The better all weather road grip and water dispersing ability ensure that the model is safe to use all year.

The model offers a quiet and comfortable drive. The tread design's variable pitch sequence cancels out the road noise heard in the vehicle's cabin while the tire is in motion. the variable pitch sequence creates a sound frequency that negates the sound generated by the tires. The tire's internal structure features a single strand bead wire that upgrades the ride quality by lowering the road vibrations felt. It ensures that the tire closely follows the road surface, which prevents the road vibrations from being felt in the vehicle's cabin. The better comfort levels and lower road noise offer an enjoyable driving experience.

The internal structure also sports a new material light weight belt cord that provides a stronger tire shape and a lower tire weight. The lowered weight reduces the model's rolling resistance, which determines how much energy the vehicle will use up to maintain the tire's motion.
