The Hankook Optimo H428 (OE) is a touring, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles. This model is the original equipment tire of select vehicles.

The tire promotes excellent all weather traction. The symmetric tread design, with the detailed siping pattern, and the all season silica-based compound increase the model's grip on dry, wet and winter weather road surfaces. The compound's silica materials maintain a firm grip on the road surface and keep the tire's weather flexibility throughout the year. The tread's constant road contact and the siping pattern's additional biting edges boost the grip on the road surface. The circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning as they channel water and slush away from the tire's footprint. As a result, the tire guarantees an excellent all weather traction.

The model ensures a comfortable drive. The tread design features a variable pitch sequence that lowers the road noise levels during the drive. The variable pitch phase shift creates a sound frequency that negates the road and tread pattern noise generated while the tires are in motion.
