OVERVIEW
The Hankook DH06 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It was made to be mounted on the vehicle's drive axle.
The tire promotes great all weather traction. The tire manages to boost the dry, wet and winter weather traction with the durable all season compound and the optimal tread block siping detail. The compound is able to withstand different temperatures, from the heat of summer to colder winter weather, while the additional biting edges of the block sipes boosts the grip the tire has on the road surface throughout the year. The optimal groove placement manages to prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the footprint. This allows the tire to increase the year round driving safety.
The model offers a lengthened usability. The tire combines the durable tire compound with the special siping detail to extend the tread life. The wear-resistant tire compound decreases the tread wear rate significantly. The stronger construction stabilizes the tread elements and prevents tread flexing during the tire's performance. This, along with the tread block sipes, ensures a balanced pressure distribution. The equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking avoids irregular tread wear formations along the tread area, extending the usability and the model's service life.
The DH06 upgrades the driving safety significantly with the tread's self-cleaning nature. The tread's detailed groove placement maintains a clean footprint and prevents stone retention. These grooves eliminate mud and snow stuck between the tread elements, ensuring the tire's constant road surface contact. This pattern also avoids stone retention by ejecting rocks from the footprint before they can drill into the casing and damage the tread area. In this manner, the tire ensures a secure performance throughout the year.
