OVERVIEW
The Hankook AH11 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It was made to be mounted on the vehicle's steer axle.
The tire is easily controlled throughout the year. The symmetric ribbed tread pattern's maintained road contact enhances the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. The better road contact upgrades the steering response time and accuracy to the driver's commands, while the structure is stabilized against the driving pressure. The optimal siping detail stabilizes the tread elements, which helps improve the braking ability. At the moment of braking the wide footprint's sipes create friction between the tire and the road surface, which shortens the braking distance significantly.
The model's strengthened internal structure and optimal footprint improve the all weather performance. Furthermore, these elements optimize the tire's contact with the road surface and ease the driving pressure off the tire. In this manner, the tire is capable of lowering the rolling resistance during it performance. The rolling resistance is the driving pressure affecting the tire, which determines the amount of energy the vehicle needs to keep the tires in motion. The reduced rolling resistance decreases the vehicle's fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, which offers a fuel efficient and environmentally friendly performance.
The model also offers a lengthened tread life. The wider symmetric tire footprint closely follows the road surface at all times. The better road contact allows the tire to evenly distribute the driving pressure along the tread area. The equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking avoids the formation of irregular tread wear on the tire's surface. The durable tire compound, on the other hand, greatly slows the tread wear rate down. The slower even tread wear ensures an extended tread life and usability.
The tire's reinforced internal structure maintains the tire's optimal shape against the driving and load pressure affecting it. The enhanced construction of the tire's carcass and bead structure prevents the shape's deformation under the driving and load pressure. The better durability upgrades the tire's load handling capability. In other words, it boosts the tire's load carrying and withstanding capacity, without allowing the tire to deform under the pressure affecting the model. The model's self-cleaning capability also improves the tire's durability. The stone ejectors eliminate rocks stuck between the tread elements, preventing them from harming the tire's casing by drilling rocks into it. The improved load durability and damage prevention extend the model's service life significantly.
The AH11 promotes a secure all season traction. The symmetric tread pattern and durable tire compound boost the dry, wet and winter weather performance. The tread design's siping detail firmly grips the road surface throughout the year, even when driving on ice- and snow-covered road surfaces. The compound keeps the tire's flexibility all year round. The circumferential grooves avoid hydroplaning. They disperse water and slush from below the tire's footprint by dispersing water and slush from below the tire's footprint. The better traction and hydroplaning resistance guarantee a secure driving experience.
