The individual tread blocks firmly grip the road surface in warm temperature conditions, while the special summer tire compound only maintains the tire's flexible traction in summer weather. This model is not suitable for winter weather performance. The tread design also features wide circumferential and angled lateral grooves disperse water from below the tire's footprint to actively resist hydroplaning while the tires are in motion.
