OVERVIEW

The Grenlander Colo H01 is a performance summer tire manufactured for passenger vehicles.

The tire promotes great summer weather traction. The tread pattern and the summer weather tire compound work together to increase the dry and wet weather road gripping capability. The semi-asymmetric pattern's elements firmly grip the road surface in warm temperature weather, while the tire compound resists heat-buildup while the tires are in motion. The tire is not suitable for winter weather performance as the tread design and tire compound cannot provide good traction in colder temperatures. The wide circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the tire's footprint.

The tread design's continuous center rib closely follows the road surface and improves the steering responsiveness. The rib maintains the tire's road contact at all times, which boosts the steering response time and accuracy to the driver's commands, while it stabilizes the structure against the driving pressure affecting the model. The tread pattern's shoulder tread block placement increases the cornering and maneuvering capability. The tread blocks heighten the number of biting edges firmly gripping the road surface and improving the cornering ability and power. The Colo H01 offers first-rate high speed performance. The semi-asymmetric tread design manages to evenly distribute the driving pressure along the tread area. This eases the pressure off the tire and prevents its concentration on one area of the tire's tread. This, along with the summer weather compound, prevents heat build-up during the high speed performance. The tire's heat-resistance decreases the possibility and the tread and the tire shape's deformation under the high speed driving forces, which allows the tire to perform to its best high speed capability.
