OVERVIEW

The Goodyear Eagle Sport All-Season ROF is a performance and high performance, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs. Goodyear offers a 50,000 mile treadwear warranty with this tire model.

The tire has excellent all weather traction and, thanks to the tread design and tire compound, it grips the road well in dry, wet and winter weather. The tread design's circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by eliminating water and slush from below the tire footprint. This improves the wet weather traction and the tire's year round safety.

The model is a run flat tire, which means that in cases of air pressure loss the tire is capable of supporting the weight of the vehicle and the passengers temporarily, thanks to its special reinforced sidewalls. In other words, the tire can be driven on for 50 miles up to the speed of 50 mph if it loses air pressure due to a puncture or cut. This prevents the driver from being stranded on the side of the road. Instead, they can safety arrive at a destination where they can change or fix their tire. Run flat tires are usually made for vehicles that do not have space for a spare tire. Due to their heavier construction, run flat tires cannot be mixed with regular tires.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
