OVERVIEW
The Goodyear Eagle GS-C EMT is a high performance, summer tire manufactured for passenger vehicles.
This tire offers a safe high speed performing capability. The directional tread design, the special compound, and the strong internal structure work together to optimize the tire' high speed performance. The special tread pattern keeps the tire's road contact at all times. The summer compound prevents heat build-up along the tread area and maintains the model's road grip during the high speed drive. The strengthened internal structure keeps the optimal tire shape under driving pressure. This allows the tire to perform at its best high speed capability. Summer weather traction is improved with the tread design and summer compound. The directional tread design and heat-resistant compound improve dry and wet weather traction. The summer compound keeps the rubber flexible and prevents heat build-up across the tread area. The wide grooves resist aquaplaning, as they disperse water from the tread area. This tread design excellently boosts the summer weather driving safety.
The strengthened internal structure enables the tire to provide a limited, temporary performance in case of air pressure loss. Once air pressure leaves the tire due to a puncture or some other damage, the tire can still be driven on for 50 miles up to 50 mph. In this case, the vehicle can safely arrive at a nearby location, where the damaged tire can be fixed. Run flat tires should not be minted on the same vehicle with regular tires, due to their heavier internal structure.
The Goodyear Eagle GS-C EMT is an excellent high speed performer. The special tread elements enhance controllability and maneuvering in summer weather traction. The maintained surface contact enables the tire to boost steering responsiveness and driving stability. The steering response time and accuracy to the driver's commands are enhanced, while the structure is secured against driving pressure. These elements ensure a safer handling capability at high speeds.
