OVERVIEW
The Goodyear Assurance TripleTred All-Season is a touring, all season tire manufactured for passenger tires. Goodyear offers a 70,000 mile treadwear warranty with the V (149 mph) speed rated sizes, and a 80,000 mile treadwear warranty with the T (118 mph) and H (130 mph) speed rated sizes of this tire model.
The tire has exceptional all weather traction and it grips the road well in wet, dry and winter weather thanks to the three special tread zones that split the tread up into dry, wet and winter weather traction. The dry zone features a special shoulder tread block pattern that enhances performing ability in dry weather conditions. The ice zone uses a special compound in the center rib of the tire that provides superb winter weather road grip. The wet zone's sipes and grooves eliminate water from below the tire footprint and promote hydroplaning resistance as a result. The wet zone also features unique evolving traction grooves that increase the tire footprint when the tire is new and widens with the tread wear, extending the model's wet traction.
The dry zones shoulder tread block design increases the cornering and maneuvering ability and power. The shoulder tread block sequence provides additional biting edges and it improves the tire's stability and performing ability. The tread pattern's continuous center rib enhances the driving stability and the steering responsiveness and accuracy. The model is swift and precise in its response to the driver's commands, enabling them to confidently control the tire in all weather, making the drive safer.
The internal structure of the Assurance TripleTred All-Season features a polyester casing cord reinforced with twin steel belts spirally wrapped with nylon. This improves the tires durability and comfort levels. The tire maintains its optimal tire shape against the driving pressure, which allows the tire to perform to its highest capability. The casing cord manages to absorb the driving shock that can cause road vibrations, making the driving experience more comfortable and enjoyable.
