OVERVIEW

The General Grabber HD is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for light trucks.

The tire offers excellent all weather traction. The special Duragen technology optimizes the compound to suit all weather, without allowing it to lose its flexibility. The symmetric tread design, on the other hand, maintains its firm grip on all dry, wet and winter weather road surfaces. The tread's wide wavy circumferential grooves actively disperse water and slush from below the tire's footprint, effectively resisting irregular tread wear formations. The better hydroplaning resistance and the all weather traction ensure a safer year round driving experience.

The special StabiliTread technology widens the tire's footprint. This enhances the tire's road contact, which allows the tread to evenly distribute the driving pressure along the tread area. The equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking lengthen the tread life and the tire's usability by resisting irregular wear formations across the tread area. The better road contact also improves the tire's controllability. It stabilizes the structure against the driving pressure affecting it, while the steering becomes faster and more precise in its response to the driver's commands. In this manner, the driver can confidently control the vehicle all year.

The Grabber HD has exceptional durability. The special reinforced internal structure maintains the tire's optimal shape under the driving and load pressure. As a result, the tire is capable of carrying and withstanding heavy loads with ease. The tire is also damage resistant. The compound prevents cuts and chipping, while the sidewall curb guard, an additional curb gauge, protects the sidewalls from curb and impact damage.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
