OVERVIEW
The General Ameri*Steel S360 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. This model was made for all axle positions.
The tire upgrades the all weather traction. The all season compound and the symmetric ribbed tread design improve the dry, wet and winter weather grip on the road surface. The ideal tread design enhances the rubber flexibility in versatile temperatures, optimizing the summer and winter weather driving safety levels. The siping pattern and the ribbed design firmly grip the road surface with extra biting edges, boosting the year round traction. The circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from the footprint, boosting the wet weather driving safety levels.
The model greatly enhances the length of the usability. The symmetric ribbed tread design and the durable compound elements increase the tread life length. The even pressure distribution avoids irregular wear formations along the tread area. The durable compound elements upgrade the rubber flexibility and lower the treadwear rate significantly. The tread's self-cleaning ability eliminates rocks stuck between the tread elements. As a result, the tire does not damage the casing by drilling rocks into the tread area, upgrading the service life.
The Ameri*Steel S360 also features Visual Alignment Indicators. The VAI are placed on the tire's shoulder ribs, parallel to one another, and visually represent the vehicle's alignment. They wear along with the tread area, representing the treadwear manner. If they wear in an identical manner, the tire is wearing evenly and the vehicle's alignment is correct. If they are not identical, the vehicle's alignment should be checked before the tire develops an irregular wear pattern.
