OVERVIEW
The Freedom Hauler Dutymax All Steel ST is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It was made to be mounted on the trailer axle. This tire is NOT MEANT TO BE MOUNTED ON LIGHT TRUCKS, as its construction will not support the weight and performing style of such vehicles. It can ONLY BE MOUNTED ON TRAILERS.
The tread design features a symmetric ribbed pattern which maintains the tire's contact with the road surface at all times. This increased road contact upgrades the fuel efficiency. It allows the tire to ease the driving pressure off the tread area, which significantly lowers the tire's rolling resistance. The rolling resistance is the external driving pressure affecting the tire which determines the amount of energy needed to keep the tires in motion. The decreased rolling resistance greatly lowers the vehicle's fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. This guarantees a fuel efficient and environmentally friendly performance.
The model offers a lengthened usability. The tread design's optimal siping detail allows the tire to evenly distribute the driving pressure along the tread area. In this manner, the tire actively prevents heat build-up along the tread area and avoids irregular tread wear. The heat build-up accelerates the tread wear rate and causes premature tread wear on the tire's surface, while the formation of an irregular tread wear pattern causes a bumpy ride and a lowered usability.
