The Firestone Firehawk AS is a performance, all season tire manufactured for performance vehicles. Firestone offers a 50,000 mile treadwear warranty with this model.

The silica-based tire compound and the special tread pattern with the full depth tread elements promote excellent all weather traction. The model grips the road well in dry, wet and even in winter weather as a result. The tire provides additional biting edges to guarantee its superb performing capability in winter conditions. The wide circumferential and numerous lateral grooves actively avoid hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the tire footprint, enhancing the year round driving security.

The tire offers a lengthened tread life and tire usability. The special full depth siping detail is present to the bottom of the tread blocks and they do not wear out with the tread wear. The longer lasting siping detail maintains the tire's exceptional road gripping ability throughout the tire's life. The compound contains L. L. Carbon, which extends the tire's usability. It creates an interconnecting link on a molecular level across the entire tire surface, which evenly distributes the driving pressure along the tread area and strengthens the tire. This prevents irregular tread wear from forming on the tire, which offers a long lasting tread life.

The tire's constant road contact also improves its handling. The steering responsiveness and the driving stability are enhanced as the tire maintains contact at all times, with the great road gripping ability. The tire is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting it as a result, and its steering becomes quicker and more accurate in its response to the driver's commands.
