Firestone Champion Guide Grip 3 Rib
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
- Field Friendly Tire
- Improved Handling
- Enhanced Durability
OVERVIEW
The Firestone Champion Guide Grip 3 Rib is an all season tire created for agricultural tractors.
The three-rib tread design is designed with consistent field traction in mind. The footprint is symmetric and balanced, closely following the terrain surface and equalizing the pressure circulation. The result is soft traction, which significantly improves the tire's ability to prevent soil damage. With excellent flotation ability, the pressure does not accumulate in a small area on the tread. This makes soil retention unlikely to happen, keeping the soil intact instead of loosening it up. This model promotes traction while keeping the soil quality as is.
The tread design also benefits the vehicle's controllability. It improves the tire's surface contact, stabilizing the tire against the terrain surface and enhancing its maneuverability. The tractor driver can rely on quicker and faster steering responses, while enjoying a safe driving experience. The three ribs ideally balance out the load and driving pressure affecting the tire. The tire ensures that the driver has full control over the vehicle throughout the performance.
Another huge benefit is the tire's enhanced durability. It comes with a shock-fortified steel cord that strengthens its whole core. The strong construction prevents the tire from losing its optimal shape despite the load or driving pressure applied. It also provides protection against external damage such as impacts or snags. Its strong structure enables the model to carry and withstand heavier loads. The tread elements are also less likely to flex when being driven on irregular terrain. By enhancing the Champion Guide Grip 3 Rib's damage resisting capabilities, its service life is significantly extended as well.
This specific tire model features a BIASED ply construction.
There might be discrepancies of sizes between brands and models of tires which have this size formatting. As the manufacturers only provide the tire width and the rim diameter with these tires, various brands and models will have size differences. In order to ensure the correct size is purchased, the overall tire diameter that is needed should be checked.
The Overall Diameter or O.D. advertised represents the tire's overall diameter in inches, once the tire has been properly inflated and mounted per the manufacturer's recommendation. This advertised number is provided to Priority Tire by the tire manufacturer.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
