The Federal Formoza FD2 is a performance and high performance, depending on the speed rating of the specific tire size, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles. Federal offers a 50,000 mile treadwear warranty with this tire model.

The tire offers excellent all weather traction. The special tread pattern and silica-based tire compound work together to ensure an enhanced dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The wide circumferential grooves and the multi-siping detail on the tread blocks increase the water and slush dispersing ability, which effectively improves the hydroplaning resistance. The better water evacuation and all weather traction guarantee a safer year round driving experience.

The model's controllability and handling are also upgraded. The solid center rib of the tread design maintains constant road contact, which enhances the steering responsiveness and driving stability.
