The Federal Formoza AZ01 is a performance and high performance, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs.
The tire promotes superb all weather traction. The heat diffusing tire compound and the tread design improve the dry, wet and light winter weather road gripping ability. They firmly grip the road surface in such conditions and guarantee excellent performance. The tread pattern's blade-shaped and curved shoulder grooves effectively disperse water and slush from beneath the tire's footprint and actively avoid hydroplaning. The enhanced hydroplaning resistance and exceptional all season traction ensure a more secure year round driving experience.
The model offers a fuel efficient drive. The honeycomb sidewall design and the heat diffusing tire compound manage to lower the rolling resistance. The heat does not build up on the tire's surface, lowering the strength of the pressure affecting the tire. The result is the decreased fuel consumption and CO2 emissions of the vehicle, which makes the tire more fuel conscious and environmentally friendly. The lessened rolling resistance eases the driving pressure off the tire, which results in a slower tread wear rate. This is a run flat model. It utilizes its robust structure to ensure the tire’s limited, temporary performance after air pressure loss. Once air pressure leaves the tire, it can still be driven on for 50 miles up to 50 mph. This prevents the tire from being stranded on the side of the road due to damage. Instead, the tire can be driven to a nearby location, where the damaged tire can be changed or fixed. Run flat tires should never be mounted on the same vehicle mixed with regular tires, as their internal structure makes them heavier.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
