The Falken Ziex S/TZ05 is a touring, all season tire manufactured for SUVs. Falken offers a 50,000 mile treadwear warranty with this model.
Falken offers a road hazard warranty with this tire. Road hazard damage is harm caused to the tire during its performance. It can occur in the form of punctures, bruises, or impact breaks when the tire is driven in normal driving conditions on a federal, state, and/or locally maintained road. Falken's road hazard covers the first 3/32nds of the tire's tread life or 2 years from the date of purchase (whichever comes first). The road hazard warranty is honored if the damage is unrepairable per the USTMA puncture repair guidelines. Additional restrictions and fees may apply.
Falken also offers a Thirty (30) Day Ride Guarantee or 1,000 miles to try this model out. In case you are not satisfied with your purchase, Falken provides this warranty for 30 days or 1,000 miles, whichever comes first. The returned tires must not show damage due to road hazards, incorrect operation or maintenance, or damage caused by external conditions. This offer is for tires operated in normal highway conditions within the U.S. or Canada and it excludes tires used in commercial service or racing applications. The tires must be returned to the original place of purchase, with the sales invoice and the proper documentation.
The tire offers excellent all weather traction and it firmly grips the road in dry, wet and winter weather. The tire was manufactured with a special all season tire compound and it, along with the five-rib symmetric tread pattern, improves the road gripping ability greatly. The wide circumferential and lateral grooves prevent hydroplaning situations by eliminating water and slush from below the tire footprint. The combination of the water dispersing ability and the superb traction ensure a safe year round driving experience.
The special five-rib symmetric tread pattern offers a long lasting tread life and tire usability. It prevents irregular wear patterns from forming across the tread area by evenly spreading the forces of acceleration, cornering and braking out along the tire surface. This equal distribution of the driving pressure extends the tire's tread life by guaranteeing even wear throughout the tire's life. The longer lasting tread life makes the tire more cost-efficient as it is usable for an extended period of time.
