OVERVIEW
The Durun STC1 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for trailers. This tire is NOT MEANT TO BE MOUNTED ON LIGHT TRUCKS, as its construction will not support the weight and performing style of such vehicles. It can ONLY BE MOUNTED ON TRAILERS.
The tire increases the all weather performing capability by utilizing the all season compound and the symmetric ribbed tread design. This combination greatly improves the dry, wet and winter weather grip on the road surface. The all season compound elements optimize the rubber flexibility in versatile temperatures, increasing the summer and winter weather durability. The notched ribbed pattern optimizes the grip on the road surface with additional biting edges, upgrading the winter weather traction. The circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from the footprint. This results in a safer wet weather performance.
The surface contact is maintained with the symmetric ribbed tread design. These tread elements upgrade the steering responsiveness and the driving stability, by closely following the surface contact throughout the performance. In other words, the better road contacts the tire is able to improve the steering response time and accuracy to the towing vehicle's commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the tire. The shoulder block pattern with the zigzag sipes and lateral grooves generate additional biting edges, optimizing the cornering and maneuvering capability and power. This combination guarantees the towing vehicle's better control over the trailer during the performance.
The STC1 greatly upgrades the load durability as well. The strengthened internal structure allows the tire to maintain the ideal tire shape under the load and driving pressure. As the tire does not deform under the load and driving pressure affecting the tire. In this manner, the tire is able to securely carry and withstand heavy loads with ease, optimizing the load capacity throughout the performance.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
