OVERVIEW
The Duro DP3000 is a touring all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles. Duro offers a 50,000 mile treadwear warranty with this model.
The tire promotes great all weather traction. The semi-asymmetric ribbed tread design and the silica-enhanced tire compound work together to boost the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The silica-based tire compound maintains the model's excellent flexibility throughout the year, including in winter weather, and it resists weather damage harming the tire's tread area. The tread elements firmly grip the road surface, while the wide circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the tire's footprint. The increased traction and hydroplaning resistance guarantee the model's exceptional year round performance.
The model guarantees a lengthened tread life. The silica-infused tire compound manages to lower the tire's rolling resistance. This not only makes the tire fuel efficient by lowering the vehicle's fuel consumption, but it also extends the tread life, by significantly slowing the tread wear rate down. The tread design's optimal road contact evenly distributes the driving pressure along the tread area. The equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking extend the tread life and the tire's usability by actively resisting the formation of irregular tread wear across the tread area. The longer lasting tread life and usability make the model more cost efficient.
The DP3000 offers better controllability. The tread design's shoulder pattern and notched center rib maintain its road contact at all times. The center rib's constant road contact upgrades the steering responsiveness and driving stability. In other words, the steering becomes faster and more precise in its responsiveness to the driver's commands, while the structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting the model. The shoulder tread design increases the number of biting edges firmly gripping the road surface during cornering, boosting the cornering and maneuvering capability greatly and ensuring a secure driving experience.
