OVERVIEW
The Dunlop Sport Maxx RT2 DSST is a high performance, summer tire manufactured for passenger vehicles.
Summer weather traction is promoted with this model. The stronger compound elements are heat-resistant, while the tread's close road contact improves the dry and wet weather grip. This combination enables the tire to increase the road-to-rubber ratio, optimizing the performance. The stronger compound prevents heat build-up in warmer temperatures. Circumferential grooves disperse water from the footprint, effectively avoiding hydroplaning in the process.
Exceptional high speed controllability is also provided. The maintained surface contact of the ribbed tread design improves the steering responsiveness and driving stability. This combination helps to upgrade the steering response time and accuracy to the driver's commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the tire. The shoulder block pattern helps to enhance the cornering ability with the use of extra biting edges. The sipe and notch placement generates friction in order to significantly decrease the overall braking distance.
