OVERVIEW

The Dunlop SP Winter Sport M3 DSST is a high performance winter tire manufactured for passenger and performance vehicles.

The tire has received the three mountain peak and snowflake symbol for its capability of handling the most severe winter weather. This is made possible with the special directional tread design and high density siping detail. The tire finds grip on snow and ice-covered road surfaces and allows it to perform well in all winter conditions. The wide circumferential and lateral grooves prevent hydroplaning by eliminating water from below the tire footprint. The enhanced road gripping ability and water and slush dispersing ability boost the driving safety greatly.

The tire is a run flat model which means that it can handle the vehicle's weight for a limited time after the loss of air pressure. In other words, the tire supports the weight of the vehicle and the passengers after air pressure loss for 50 miles up to the speed of 50 mph with the reinforced sidewalls. These tires are manufactured for vehicle's that have no space for a spare tire and they are not meant to be mixed with regular tires as their internal construction is heavier.

The high density siping detail firmly grips the road, which boosts the steering responsiveness and driving stability.
