The Dunlop SP Sport Maxx 050 is a high performance summer tire manufactured for passenger vehicles.
The model offers excellent summer weather traction. The asymmetric tread design and summer weather compound work together to improve the dry and wet weather traction. The tread's enhanced road contact ensures first-rate dry weather performance, while the wide circumferential and lateral groove effectively resists hydroplaning by dispersing water from below the tire's footprint. The stronger compound prevents heat build-up and maintains its flexibility in warm weather. However, this model is not suited for winter conditions. The compound and tread do not keep their road grip and traction in colder temperatures.
The tire is easily controlled. The optimized high performance tread pattern keeps the tire's road contact at all times, which upgrades the steering responsiveness and driving stability.
