OVERVIEW

The Dunlop Direzza DZ102 is a performance and high performance, summer tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs.

The tire offers exceptional summer weather traction. The tire grips the road well in dry and wet surfaces and provides a safe driving experience in those conditions. However, the tire is not recommended for use in colder winter weather temperatures. This great dry and wet weather traction is the result of the Silicarbon Matrix tire compound used in its manufacture, which is a combination of carbon block and silica. The tire's resistance to hydroplaning is enhanced with the added wet traction and the circumferential tread grooves which eliminate water from below the footprint.

The tire's enhanced performing ability is due to the deeper lateral cuts and the shoulder pattern of the tread design that grips the road at all speeds. The special Jointless Band Technology helps increase the quality of the high speed drive, as it reduces the vibrations felt in the cabin of the vehicle. The internal structure of this model and the special directional tread pattern offer a larger tire footprint which increases the control over the tire. The tire's steering accuracy makes it easier to handle and it offers a quicker response time.

The internal structure also enables the Direzza DZ102's tread life to last longer. The tread wears out evenly thanks to the maximized road contact area. This prevention of irregular wear on the tires increases the tread life. The tire is also equipped with a rim protector. The Max Flange Shield protects the wheel from accidental curb damage, making it tire safer to use at high speeds.
