The compound maintains its flexibility even in colder temperatures, while the tread finds great road grip all year. The tread's four wide circumferential grooves effectively resist hydroplaning by eliminating water and slush from below the tire's footprint. The special compound succeeds in decreasing the rolling resistance. The rolling resistance is the force affecting the tire that determines how much energy is needed to maintain the tire's motion.
