OVERVIEW

The Deestone D838 is an all season tire manufactured for lawn mowers and other garden equipment vehicles.

The tire's tread design features S-shaped tread elements that maintain its surface contact at all times. The better surface contact boosts the tire's controllability. It enhances the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. The steering becomes faster and more precise during the tire's performance, while its structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting the tire. The constant road contact increases the driver's control over the vehicle to improve its year round driving safety.

The wider and flat footprint with the ideal tread block placement increases the soft traction. This is important as the soft traction allows the tire's turf friendly performance. This tread eases the pressure off the tires during the drive, which allows its traction to not harm the turf and grass field. This makes the tire perfect for lawn mower applications.

The D838 features a reinforced nylon construction. This internal structure manages to maintain the tire's optimal shape under the load and driving pressure affecting the model. The ideal tire shape does not deform during the drive, enabling the tire's safer performing and load handling capability.

This is a bias ply tire. Due to the tire's internal construction and size, it is possible that the tire will look deformed. Smaller bias ply tires do not have reinforced constructions that can keep the tire from deforming. The bias construction and the small tire's non-reinforced internal structure allow the tire to fold in when it is deflated or not properly inflated. This is not constructional damage or an issue; it is a normal occurrence with such tires. In such cases, the tire needs to be mounted and inflated to the proper PSI or, in some instances, an inner tube needs to be added. The proper PSI and the inner tube are able to maintain the tire's ideal shape, preventing the bias plies from looking deformed. This ensures their performing safety and durability.
