OVERVIEW

The Cosmo El Jefe HT is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for SUVs. Cosmo offers a 55,000 mile treadwear warranty with new tires.

The tire improves the year round performance with the tread design and the all season compound. They work together to increase the grip on dry, wet and winter weather road surface conditions. The detailed tread design enhances the number of biting edges gripping the road surface while the tires are in motion with additional biting edges. The compound’s year round durability keeps the tire’s rubber flexibility in various temperatures. The tread’s circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the footprint, keeping the tire’s surface contact even in wet and winter conditions, which enhances the all weather driving safety levels.

The tread design also manages to boost the tire’s overall controllability. The flat footprint of the symmetric ribbed design closely follows the road surface throughout the drive, which upgrades the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. As a result, the steering becomes faster and more precise in its response to the driver’s commands, while the structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting the model. The optimal shoulder block placement increases the number of biting edges gripping the road surface, enabling the tire to enhance the cornering and maneuvering capability and power. The detailed siping pattern creates friction between the tire and the road surface at the moment of braking. This friction allows the tire to improve the braking power and shorten the braking distance significantly, resulting in a secure performing capability.
