Corsa 2233
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
- Summer weather traction
- Enhanced controllability
- High speed performance
OVERVIEW
The Corsa 2233 is a high performance, summer tire manufactured for passenger vehicles.
The tire promotes great summer weather traction. The asymmetric tread design and summer tire compound together increase the dry and wet weather road gripping ability. The compound loses its flexibility in colder temperatures, while the tread elements keep their gripping ability in summer conditions. In this manner, the tire ensures its exceptional summer weather road gripping ability, but it does not offer good winter traction. The wide circumferential grooves actively resist hydroplaning by eliminating water from below the tire's footprint.
The tread pattern features two solid center ribs and large outer shoulder tread blocks. The center rib keeps the tire's road contact at all times. This improves the steering responsiveness and driving stability, in this manner, the steering becomes faster and more accurate in its responsiveness to the driver's instructions, while the tire's structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting the tires. The large outer tread blocks increase the number of biting edges that firmly grip the road surface during cornering and maneuvering, ensuring a secure driving experience in all conditions.
The 2233 manages to evenly distribute the driving pressure across the entire tread area and prevents deformation during the drive. The equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking avoids irregular wear formations across the tread area. This ensures a longer lasting tread life and tire usability. The distribution of the driving pressure also optimizes the tire's structure and prevents it from deforming under the driving pressure affecting it. As the tire maintains its optimal shape at all times, it is capable of performing to its highest capability.
