The Cooper Discoverer AT3 LT is an all terrain, all season tire manufactured for light truck vehicles. Cooper offers a 60,000 mile treadwear warranty with this model.
The tire promotes excellent all weather traction. The special damage resistant silica compound and the five-rib design work together to guarantee a first-rate dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The silica compound does not lose its flexibility in colder temperatures, while the tread elements maintain good road grip at all times. The wide zigzag tread grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the tire's footprint. This ensures a safer driving experience in all weather, promoting better performance.
The tread design and tire compound combined increase the all terrain traction. They allow the tire to conquer all soft, loose and uneven terrain surfaces with ease and ensure a safer drive. The staggered tread blocks of the five-rib tread design enhance the road grip both on and off-road, making the tire more versatile in its use. The staggered tread block, alternating scoops and special stone ejecting ledges enhance the tread's self-cleaning ability. They eliminate mud and snow and eject stones stuck between the tread elements to maintain a clean footprint and prevent stone retention, which can harm the tread area.
The model was made with the Even Wear Arch Technology. This technology evenly distributes the driving pressure across the tread area.
