This model offers good traction in versatile weather conditions. Cooper used a durable, all season compound to mold the asymmetric ribbed tread design. The tread’s angled lugs, sipes, and grooves, as well as the optimal road-to-rubber ratio enhance the tire’s dry, wet, and winter grip. Additionally, four circumferential grooves channel water and slush from the footprint, resisting hydroplaning in the process.
Great controllability is also promoted with this model. The asymmetric tread’s ribbed pattern maintains surface contact thanks to its excellent tread stability, upgrading steering responsiveness and driving stability. The tread’s consistent surface contact optimizes steering responses and accuracy, while the structure is secured against driving pressure. The shoulder ribs, with their sipe placement, generate biting edges to further improve the tire’s cornering and maneuvering.
