OVERVIEW

The Continental HTL2 Eco Plus is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial trucks. This model is specially designed for the vehicle's trailer axle.

The model provides a lengthened tread life. The ribbed tread design enhances the tread life and the tire's usability by avoiding irregular tread wear formations. The ribbed pattern manages to evenly distribute the driving pressure along the tread area. The equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking prevent uneven tread wear across the tread area. The durable tire compound manages to diminish the tread wear rate thanks to its wear-resistant durability. The longer lasting tread life guarantees an elongated service life as well.

The tire was designed with the Eco Plus technology which utilizes the tread design and the tire compound to lower the tire's rolling resistance. They increase the tire's all weather traction and ease the pressure off the tire to decrease the rolling resistance. The rolling resistance is the pressure affecting the tire, which determines how much energy the vehicle needs to use up to keep the tires in motion.
