The Continental CrossContact LX Sport ContiSilent is a performance and high performance, all season tire manufactured for SUVs.

The tire was manufactured with the ContiSilent technology. This reduces the road noise heard in the cabin of the vehicle by placing sound-absorbing foam on the inner lining of the tread area. The foam cancels and absorbs all road and pattern noise created while the tires are in motion. The reduced noise levels make the driving experience more comfortable as the road and pattern noise cannot be heard in the cabin of the vehicle.

The tire has exceptional all weather traction and it grips the road well in dry, wet and winter weather. The asymmetric tread pattern improves the performing ability in all weather conditions as it maintains constant road grip. The tire's tread pattern actively avoids hydroplaning situations by eliminating water and slush from below the tire footprint. The better all weather traction and hydroplaning resistance make the tire safe to use year round.

The asymmetric tread pattern and the excellent all weather traction improve the steering responsiveness, braking ability and handling of the model. The tread pattern firmly grips the road in all weather conditions which upgrades the steering responsiveness and accuracy. The tire is swift and accurate in its response to the driver's instructions. This specific tire is marked with T1 as it is the original equipment of Tesla vehicles.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
