OVERVIEW
The Ceat Farmax R-1 is an all season tire manufactured for tractors.
The tire improves traction on different terrains. The directional tread design with the angled lug pattern and high void ratio greatly improves the tire's field and on-road performance. These tread elements ensure the soft and loose terrain grip, while also promoting a smoother on-road drive. The high void ratio keeps the footprint clean by dispersing mud and snow from the footprint. As a result, the tire maintains its surface contact at all times, offering a safer driving experience.
The directional lug pattern allows the tire to enhance the controllability. The tread elements ensure the tire's surface contact while the tires are in motion, which upgrades the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. As a result, the tire is quicker and more precise in its response to the driver's commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure. This combination improves the driver's control over the vehicle throughout the performance.
The tire features a reinforced bias ply carcass structure which enhances the durability. This construction maintains the ideal tire shape under the load and driving pressure. As the tire does not deform under the pressure, it is able to securely carry and withstand heavy loads with ease. This structure also protects the tire from external damage, by avoiding punctures, cuts and impact damage. The self-cleaning tread design resists stone retention from harming the casing by preventing rocks from drilling into the tread area.
The Farmax R-1 boosts its service life. Apart from the tire's excellent damage resistance, the stronger compound and the stabilized tread elements work together to optimize the tread wear. The tread stability prevents irregular wear formations, while the compound's wear-resistant elements prevent premature wear. The slow and even wear, and the damage resistance, improve the tire's tread life.
This specific tire model features a BIASED ply construction.
There might be discrepancies of sizes between brands and models of tires which have this size formatting. As the manufacturers only provide the tire width and the rim diameter with these tires, various brands and models will have size differences. In order to ensure the correct size is purchased, the overall tire diameter that is needed should be checked.
The Overall Diameter or O.D. advertised represents the tire's overall diameter in inches, once the tire has been properly inflated and mounted per the manufacturer's recommendation. This advertised number is provided to Priority Tire by the tire manufacturer.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
