Carlisle Power Trac
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
- All season performance
- Versatile terrain traction
- Improved controllability
OVERVIEW
The Carlisle Power Trac is an all season tire made for lawn mowers and garden tractors.
The optimal tread pattern's close surface contact enhances overall controllability. The angled lugged pattern can closely follow the driving surface, which increases steering responsiveness and driving stability. In other words, the steering response time is faster and more precise to the driver's commands, while the structure is secured against driving pressure. Large elements can maintain surface contact, which helps to improve the cornering ability. This upgrades the driver's control over the vehicle and promotes a safe driving experience.
Great versatile terrain traction is promoted with this tread pattern and rubber compound. They work together to boost traction on soft, loose, and uneven terrains. In this manner, the tread pattern can firmly grip the surface with extra biting edges, maintaining forward motion even through deep muddy surfaces. This model also keeps the footprint clean during the ride. It can eliminate mud, snow, and rocks stuck between the tread elements for secure performance.
The Carlisle Power Trac also offers great year-round performance. The aggressive tread pattern keeps road and terrain contact at all times, while the all season compound maintains rubber flexibility in hot and cold temperatures. This combination ensures the model's dry, wet, and winter weather traction.
This is a bias ply tire. Due to the tire's internal construction and size, it is possible that the tire will look deformed. Smaller bias ply tires do not have reinforced constructions that can keep the tire from deforming. The bias construction and the small tire's non-reinforced internal structure allow the tire to fold in when it is deflated or not properly inflated. This is not constructional damage or an issue; it is a normal occurrence with such tires. In such cases, the tire needs to be mounted and inflated to the proper PSI or, in some instances, an inner tube needs to be added. The proper PSI and the inner tube are able to maintain the tire's ideal shape, preventing the bias plies from looking deformed. This ensures their performing safety and durability.
The photo is a representation of the tire's possible deformation, it does not represent the specific tire model, size, tread pattern and application.
This specific tire model features a BIASED ply construction.
There might be discrepancies of sizes between brands and models of tires which have this size formatting. As the manufacturers only provide the tire width and the rim diameter with these tires, various brands and models will have size differences. In order to ensure the correct size is purchased, the overall tire diameter that is needed should be checked.
The Overall Diameter or O.D. advertised represents the tire's overall diameter in inches, once the tire has been properly inflated and mounted per the manufacturer's recommendation. This advertised number is provided to Priority Tire by the tire manufacturer.
Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
