OVERVIEW

The Carlisle CSL 16 is a highway terrain all season tire manufactured for trailers. This tire is NOT MEANT TO BE MOUNTED ON LIGHT TRUCKS, as its construction will not support the weight and performing style of such vehicles. It can ONLY BE MOUNTED ON TRAILERS.

The model promotes great all weather traction. The ribbed tread pattern consists of five ribs and specially placed in-block sipes that increase the dry, wet and winter weather traction. The tread elements keep the tire on the road which ensures a safer driving experience in all weather. The wide circumferential tread grooves manage to increase water and slush eliminating capability to actively resist hydroplaning during the drive. The better hydroplaning and excellent traction improve the tire's performing ability.

The ribbed tread design also enhances the tire's controllability. It maintains the tire's road contact at all times, which actively boosts the steering responsiveness and driving stability. In other words, the steering becomes faster and more precise in its responsiveness to the towing vehicle's instructions, while its structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting it during the drive. The upgraded controllability is further stabilized with the shoulder tread's additional biting edges that enable the model to safely perform in all conditions.

The CSL 16 has excellent durability. The internal structure is reinforced with an all steel construction that keeps the tire's optimal shape at all times. It does not allow the tire to deform under the driving and load pressure affecting the tire, which guarantees the model's exceptional load carrying capability in all weather.
