Buckshot Mudder
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
- Longer Lasting Tread Life
- Mud Terrain Traction
- Enhanced Controllability
OVERVIEW
The Buckshot Mudder is a mud terrain, all season tire created for light trucks.
The tire has a deep tread and a sturdy compound, which is a great combination for slowing down tread wear. The tread wear is also uniform, as the shoulders are elevated, forming a flat tread footprint. This results in well-distributed driving and load pressure, preventing irregular wear formations. Both the casing and the tread are designed with cut, puncture and impact damage resistance in mind.
With such an aggressive tread design, it is easy to maintain surface contact and a strong grip with the road surface. This tire can conquer all types of off-road terrains with the lateral shoulder lugs and the two zigzag ribs. These provide the model with plenty of biting edges that are there to push it forward on loose, soft and uneven terrains. The tread elements are all about optimizing forward motion, especially on muddy surfaces.
This model has a rather open tread design with the optimized void pattern available between the shoulder lugs and the ribs. This is especially important for off-road driving, as the tire can maintain its contact with the road surface. The grooves and voids do an outstanding job channeling away the water and mud that gets in the way, or ejecting rocks. The flat footprint and the Mudder's self-cleaning ability both ensure traction even on some of the muddiest terrains.
The intended purpose of Mud Terrain tire types is off-road use. They are not designed for regular highway driving.
