OVERVIEW

The Bridgestone Dueler H/L 400 is a highway terrain all season manufactured for SUV and light truck vehicles, depending on the load index and size of the specific tire.This model has some touring sizes made for passenger vehicles.

This tire has excellent all weather traction. It is M+S rated, for mud and snow, and it performs well in severe winter conditions, both in snow and on ice. The tire's three wide tread grooves and the lateral tread grooves also help disperse water from between the tread, effectively resisting hydroplaning. The tire's dry traction is also very strong as it grips the road well in all weather conditions, including when braking and cornering.

This tire offers a quiet drive, thanks to the special computer optimized five-pitch tread sequence which channels the airwaves between the tread, lowering the road noise heard in the cabin of the vehicle. The models O-Bead structure, a single continuous strand of cable in the tire's bead, improves uniformity. The road vibrations are lessened, as the tire follows the road surface due to its stable uniformity. With the combination of these features the tire offers a quiet and comfortable driving experience.

The Dueler H/L 400 has exceptional steering precision due to the continuous center rib in the tread design. This makes the tire's handling and controllability effortless. This driving stability also enhances the tire's cornering and maneuvering ability and power, as well as shortening its braking distance, making the tire safer overall for highway use. The tire offers a longer lasting tread life, as the driving force (in other words the force of acceleration, braking and maneuvering) is equally distributed on the road contact surface of the tread. This allows the tire's tread to wear out evenly, elongating its life.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
