Once air pressure leaves the tire, its strengthened internal structure maintains the ideal tire shape under the weight of the vehicle and its passengers. This enables the tire to be driven on for 50 miles up to the speed of 50 mph, increasing the driving safety. In other words, after air pressure loss the vehicle will not be stranded on the side of the road, but it can be driven to a nearby location where the damaged tire can be fixed or damaged. These tires should not be mixed with regular tires on the same vehicle due to their heavier construction.
