OVERVIEW
The Bridgestone Blizzak LM-60 RFT is a winter tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs.
The stronger construction enables the tire's limited temporary performance in case of air pressure loss. This construction withstands the weight of the vehicle and its passengers once air pressure leaves the tire due to a puncture or other damage. In such situations the tire can be driven on for 50 miles up to 50 mph. This prevents the vehicle from being stranded on the side of the road and offers a safer performance.
The tire has great winter weather traction and it grips the road well in all dry and wet colder temperatures. The 3D and zigzag sipes in the tread pattern provide exceptional winter weather traction. The continuous circumferential lug and lateral grooves avoid hydroplaning situations by eliminating water and slush from below the tire footprint. The better road grip provides a safer drive in all winter weather situations.
The tire is capable of performing at high speeds. The 3D siping tread design maintains the tire's high speed driving stability against the external driving pressure. The model's internal twin steel belt structure increases its durability. The tire keeps its optimal shape and it does not deform under the driving force which improves the tire's high speed performing capability.
The L. L. Carbon was used for the manufacture of the tire. It creates a long interconnected link on the molecular level across the tread area, which prevents damage and increases the tread life. As a result, the tire is resistant to cracking, chipping, tearing and any other weather damage and its tread wear rate is slowed. The slower wear rate and the damage resistance extend the model's usability and tread life.
The Blizzak LM-60 RFT features the O-bead structure, which is a single continuous cable in the bead of the tire. This enhances the comfort levels of the tire, as it maintains constant road contact and follows the road surface closely. The vibrations felt in the cabin of the vehicle are reduced and the driving experience is made more comfortable as a result.
